Bill graduated from Capital University in 1964 and Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary, Columbus, Ohio in 1968.  He served congregations in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Wausau, Wisconsin for twelve years.  From 1981 until he “retired” in 2005, Bill worked in the field of information technology, most recently as Senior Systems Analyst at the City-County Data Center in Wausau.  He is very involved in his home congregation, Christ Lutheran LC-MS, Wausau, where he serves as Licensed Deacon.

He is active in Boy Scout Troop 465 with his two grandsons, Rowan and Devon, and was elected in 2010 to the Boy Scout Order of the Arrow.

Bill has been married to Patricia for 28 years.  In 2010, Pat marked her 60^th year as a Church Musician, having served in many congregations as Organist, Choir Director and Director of Music.  She also entertains with keyboard and vocals as “Limelight & Lace”.  Bill and Pat have together conducted programs of “Music and the Word” as a way of thanking the Lord for his grace and blessings.

Having personally been blessed by the gift planning process, Bill is committed to helping others discover the plan for giving that God has placed in each believers heart.  He has studied to broaden his understanding of gift planning and has received certification as a Certified Development Executive (CDE) from the Concordia Center for Financial Leadership.

Bill currently serves Our Savior Lutheran Church, Eagle River, Wisconsin.
